The event was a success with around 125 cars in the event plus a Vintage Ford truck with reproduction of Vic Watsons ,Hurrican race car on the back of it as a lead vehicle , The Hurrican was raced at the Caversham track in the 1950's . As escort  vehicles we had 8 x John Day Utes with all their lights flashing and flags flying they looked really great . John has been using his Utes to lead and push cars around Speedway circuits around WA for 40 years and is not only known around Australia but throughout the speedway world for the Presentation of his Vehicles. The event had sweep cars and tow cars following the parade in all we would have had around 150 cars following the set route to Caversham.  This event just grew and we were still taking phone calls on the day about the event, it really does show that people are hungry for this type of event as you just don't see these types of cars going down a highway .  By all accounts people where on the edge of the road waving at the drivers of the cars and their passengers all dressed up in their period clothing.
