GENERAL OFFICIAL PROCESS
The process for becoming a general official is as follows:
 1.       Officiate at an event and get a Trainee Officials Licence
           Get signed off on the CAMS Trainee Official Form at any event by the your officiating supervisor (Found on the CAMS website).
           Forward this form into Melbourne Customer Service (via email, fax or mail).
2.       Complete General Officials Introductory Module
          When Melbourne receives the form, they will email out log in details and instructions on completing the Introductory Module online or face to face.
3.       Receive General Officials Licence
          After the module is successfully completed, notify Melbourne customer service and they will send out your General Officials Licence and Passbook.
BRONZE SCRUTINEER PROCESS
The process for becoming a Bronze Scrutineer official is as follows:
1.       Theory Module
          Must hold the General Officials’ qualification
          Complete the Bronze Scrutineer Module (face to face)
2.       Event Assessment – Practical Component
          Download the Bronze Scrutineer Event Assessment Form from the CAMS Site (Found on the CAMS website).
          Engage the services of a CAMS Accredited Event Assessor (Must also hold the same qualification which is being assessed).
          Otherwise, Team Assessment can be done (one individual holding the Event Assessor licence, and another individual holding the respective officials licence).
          If you are unable to find an Event Assessor, the relevant State Office can assist.
3.       Upgrade Officials Licence
          Download the Officials Upgrade Form (Found on the CAMS website) and send into Melbourne with the completed Event Assessment Form, and a copy of your activity record from your officials’ passbook (if available).
          Once Melbourne receives this information, they will send out your Bronze Licence Sticker and Passbook.
