.
DAD’S ARMY.  Under the able leadership of Captain Mannering this group continues to achieve the seemingly impossible. Their latest coup is a hoist for the workshop, donated to the Club by Eddy and Kon Melle and installed as part of September’s working bee. The Club is very appreciative of Eddy and Kon’s generosity.
The new hoist is installed and Paul Wilkins thanks Eddie and Kon Melle with members of Dad’s Army looking on.

EVENT CLEAN-UP. Thanks to theboys for cleaning up the circuit, after the “Father’s Day Dash,” under the able supervision of Rob Fergusson Stewart.

A RESTORATION PROJECT. Now that the Clubhouse is nearly finished Dad’s Army are looking for another project. If you have an old car or an incomplete project that the boys could use to build a historic race car and you would like to donate it to the Club, give Ron Fabry a ring on 9457 9179.
When the car is finished it could be raffled to raise money for the Club. A project like this would utilise the workshop, give the members a focus and enable us to apply for a grant from the Government for the “Men in a Shed Program.”

BARBEQUE AREA. It is hoped the Historic Motor Cycle Racing Club will assist in the building of a
Barbeque area close to the Club Rooms. We will be looking for concrete slabs and materials to build a pergola.

DAD’S ARMY MEETS ON THE SECOND TUESDAY OF THE MONTH AT 9.00am.
If you would like to enlist, ring Paul Wilkins on 0428922823.
